Might get off my ass and ring ntl to get better deal this week..
Also NTL are apparently trialing throttled/capped torrent usage in some areas, won't affect any of us as i'm sure we all use encryption, but shows they're getting tougher:/

£42.50 a month.
10mb internetz (was 4mb)
free evening and weekend calls to local & national numbers (was free at weekends only)
80 tv channels (was roughly half of this)
Also, £10 a month per mobile which gives 300 minutes anytime any network calls, and 300 text messages (was £15 per month each, and we got 50 mins free anytime any network each)
In our scenario (Including the mobile phone packages), we now save £9 a month and get improvements in every area.
Total cost prior to this was £71.50 a month (plus usually a few more quid for phone calls outside the free time/allowances).
New total cost = £62.50 a month, and we probably won't ever get charged for any calls due to a combined 10 hours worth of free calls during the daytime between me and my wife's mobiles, plus the free landline calls at evenings & weekends.
Win I believe.
