I've moved from Defiance AOS to UODreams, which is an OSI clone minus the Mondains Legacy.
It's got SE but it's not too bad. I was expecting one shot kills and such but its very playable. Everyone is a mage nearly so I'm not sure what the story is there but apparently the biggest killers on the shard are the dexxers.
I'm guessing its someone with a hitspell uber kryss. (EvalInt doesnt matter for hitspell) And that the mages arent just good enough to beat em.
For some reason they are all mad into factions, which I like.

I think they've used FRAPS because of the poor quality.
350+ users on most of the time would make it as popular as any OSI shard I'd imagine
Italian based aswell so the language barrier is a pain in the ass but fun.
Myself a couple of lads joined and another group from DFI are gonna try it out.

If you want to have more than one account, it must be because someone else on your LAN wants to play.
And that someone else must be a real person
You can report your accounts as LAN accounts. Not sure what happens there but I think they are monitored or periodically checked.
So naturally I have two accounts.
Like I said, it's italian based and the language barrier is damn annoying.
I think it's going to be good tho, not speaking anyones language, as it will help pvp because of reducing room for chat. =/
Wasn't on in the last few days myself though (even forgot about an IDOC keep I found in fel and marked rune to but told noone)
So now I have 3 spots for a keep marked. If yas get money fast I'll sell one of the runes, np.
One of the lads I started with has been scamming a lot apparently. He's up a big house, orny, some dexxer majors and an ethy.
OH, they have what I think, is the single most retarded thing I've ever seen...

I remember L25's bug forum. T'was a goldmine of standard "out of the box" runuo bugs.
One I remember from my OSI days, coming to runuo, is the sound effect for poisoning. It's wrong. I paged - via the website - and an admin tested it on osi and reported back with a thank you and said I should let him know of any others. Told him I couldnt think of any off hand but I'd let him know.
So if you guys do come and notice some things that are off, be sure to let them know.
Defiance AOS kinda got boring because things were easier to get.
Kind of similar to reasons people said Legacy25 got boring for them.
DFI is geared more for PvP, hence the buffed loot.
It's lacking players though, and thats my reason for getting bored of it.
