No, also what happens to all the desert wildlife that live where these huge mommas get put? DEATH AND DESTRUCTION.

Completely rebuilding the world's electricity infrastructure sounds like fun too.

Deth to hippies.

Project estimated to cost 10bn euros and will run for 35 years
With the french at the helm you can probably double those numbers. Don't get me wrong, we're just as bad. They should have given it to Japan.

BEHOLD! The future of transport!
Europe should build a new high-voltage direct current electricity grid to allow the easy, efficient transport of electricity from a variety of alternative sources. Britain could put in wind power, Norway hydro, and central Europe biomass and geo-thermal. Together the region could provide all its electricity needs by 2050 with barely any fossil fuels and no nuclear power. This would allow a 70% reduction in carbon dioxide emissions from electricity production over the period.
If this was true Oil companys would Never ever allow it to happen, they are too powerful and motivated by the soaring price of oil.

Great idea though.

fucking great, we get to contribute wind power. Now if we can harness the power of drizzle and damp we'll be able to power the fucking thing on our own.

I got rained on this morning :(
