Even in 2d it looks shit and out of place. If it were ethy hue you could probably get away with it. They simple aren't designed to go together, yet they are forcing them.

Publish 42 has now pretty much been deemed a joke. They were bigging up there new tilesets, which got ridiculed for being ridiculously coloured (Glacial) and was released in a public patch, now Wilki has turned round and said they aren't the finished product. Why realese an unfinished product into the open?

And of course, the caps I've been asking for since I came back, well here they are.
Added caps to stat regen rates. The new caps are:

Stamina Regeneration: 24

HP Regeneration: 18

Mana Regeneration: 18
Even with all the new items, its pretty hard to get 18mr, great cap.

Anyway, I just checked test center, and the caps appear to affect *ALL* forms of regeneration. Looks like the confidence ability is completely useless now, since it only heals about 10 hp, and thats assuming it doesnt even get interrupted...

It looks like the people with the regen suits instead of skills won't be affected at all, and the only people who are really affected by it are the ones who actually have meditation skill.
Ahah, turns out cap is tied to skill. So 6 mr+120 med = mana regen cap.

Basically, power to the dexers. Mages brought down a notch, dexers unchanged in terms of chain specials....

Or with right suit, you could drop med completely. Hah:/

120 Swords
120 Mage
120 Resist
120 Eval
120 Tact
100 Anat

Of course just an example template, but you get the idea.

Personally i think it's AWESOME if that cap includes mana regen from skill. Finally people might have to think a bit about what spells they cast and wont be able to spam evasion.

While I agree with you, caps are nice, this one is poorly thought out. Dexers don't have to think about Mana, and dexer mages won't either. Basically Latency combined with 120 med + mr was 18mr. I only had 25% mana leech on weapon. I was still able to chain specials, and practically continuously dump.

Now with MR items and being human form, that MR cap with items is no longer needs to be 18, slightly smaller, making it easier. This gives me 120 extra skill points to play with. If my maths is right, you only need 14 MR to achieve the 2.2 mana/sec cap, now if this does come into play, then I will certainly consider dropping med on my pure mage, given my suit isn't far off 14mr.

Then of course, consider dexers, they aren't affected by this one bit, they can still run around in god mode.

on my mage i have 15 mr+120 med+20 focus from beeing human = 28mr.
And can put on spellbook 3mr which leaves me at 31mr. silly. If caps include skill, which i´ve read they DONT. I´ll be able to build uber suit of all suits np.

Well where are you reading it doesnt? Players I've seen have said it is affected by skill

Did he test this, or is he just speaking crap? Multiple people have said skills are affecting MR on test.

I just tested 14mr and 0 med/focus and its the same as 120 med/focus with 16mr from items.

Tested a variety of templates as well. Gonna see some mad old school templates coming out the cracks

rofl turns out test is bugged and the mr cap doesn't include skill. best cap of 18 thats almost impossible to reach :o
