I played the retail version of Lineage2 for 6months non stop and got to lvl46 and it was crap tbh, Chinese farmers and ebayers ruined the game it was very money driven and lacked pvp because everyone was too afraid to drop their items.
This free server is x35 leveling speed, and each mob drops an insane amount of money so it’s not cash driven. I got a lvl 70 Warlord in 3days (51 in 1day) and max is 80. I’m on Titan server, Tempest is the only other x35.
PvP wise it’s like UO, you flag a white (blue) you become purple (grey), criminal, attackable and if someone attacks you they also become purple. If you kill someone who doesn’t flag back you gain karma and become red, here instead of waiting you can loose karma by dying or killing mobs.
On this server you could easily get by as a guild of PKs once you hit max level. Yeah you tend to drop your items on death but not always. Every item is bought from vendors and not a drop so it’s not very item driven, could make alts to buy gear for you / earn cash.
The few problems with it, server goes down fairly often but for never longer than 10minutes usually. It’s very full, not like the UO shards, almost 4000 players online at a time, spend most of your time being KS’d trying to level (until they flag on you out of frustration and get owned).
