VX2 problem

My dad's computer has been infected by this.

Basically I've been looking up about how to get rid of this nasty piece of work, but other than manual - which is not recomended, and I'm not keen on playing about with my dads registry - the only other options I see cost money.

I was wondering if there is any free methods of getting rid of this, or whether we're gonna actually have to fork out to fix this shit properly.

I know Lavasoft AdAware has a plugin for this, but it does not work.

Any help would be appriciated.
