Pre P16 the best I ever witnessed was XLX with his scribe mage (RA ftw) both on the field and at the ancient oak tourneys.

P16 and onwards too many imbalances to really call any one player at any one time.. players first with +20 scrolls etc...items, runics and all kinds of shit. Got to mention Athena, not for any real skill but for taking advantage of the item game to the absolute max.

Best I've ever seen irl was the zole .. never seen fingers move that fast man !

Bestest fun I ever had was that weekend at ambers artied up to the nuts the weekend before they changed the fc rules

Most effective PvPer was Athena, he knew how to play the game.. and even though he was in my guild so i am likely to be biased, I dont think anyone could give a red the "oh shit" factor more than him, swampie.. artifacts.. anything gay.. he did it and it was annoying.

I still shake in terror when i remember him screaming at me on Vent, a True Internet commando.

I was in guild with athena for a while. He wasnt as powerful then as when he led AI, but a really good leader, and he knew the game really well, but he was also twinked out to the max and abused alot of scripts and shit. But that was when i played with him. No idea if he did that when he was in AI though i suspect it.

Winder, yes he used all the scripts etc , thats why i used "effective" and not "best" pvper as my way to describe him heh..

In Ai we had scripts and ghosts at every spawn, and something would send Athena a Text message if a spawn was happening, he was quite the uo programmer
