If you want to make gold, forget training skining now. Just farm leather. Might be worthwhile taking mining as well mean time, still decent money involved there, especially with the gem trade picking up.

Also take every item off corpses and just sell at vendors, even though its only like 13c. All those shitty items really do add up once your at 70.

Pugging groups is generally annoying as fuck, fortunatly everything has been simplified at lower levels, so when you do get a group, you dont need particularly good players to pull anything off.

Just go to wow official site and go to the shaman forums, there should be some decent links there, failing that, just google 4tw. I use mmo-champion for all my wow updates.

Just keep working on quests and you will get there, the quest system pretty much leads you by the nose and tells you when you need to go to a new zone. Also I dunno if you fancy it but leveling as enhance is much more efficient (especially as pre outland ele shaman itemization is fairly poor) Once you hit level 40-41 and you get dual wield+stormstrike you never have to stop.

Also if I were you id not use any of the leather you skin on your profession, check the Auction house and chuck it up on there for a little cheaper to make yourself enough gold for your mount once you hit 40.

Generally I think you want to be aiming for around 60ish gold for level 40 mount and around 600-700 for level 60 epic mount. (though to be honest I cant remember exact numbers)

60ish is like exalted, it works out at around 90 if I remember rightly, for mount+skill, unless you grind rep a bit.

Its very hard getting groups for the old world instances nowadays. Try not to get too caught up on doing them as everything gets replaced and you can always come back and solo them later if you just want to see the content.
