'Tree hack' isn't designed to make your computer run faster. It's there for easy targeting and moving.

The client still has to load the graphic just the same, whether its a full tree, half a tree or even if you changed the graphic to an orange.

Speedwise there should be 0 difference.

Are you comparing minor graphical client mods to an actual speedhack?

I'm just amazed that in the time we've been away it's become acceptable for people to let speedhackers into their guild. Let alone admit it in public.

I attacked .ava too.

And i'm rly sorry when all my friends being out and not in front of their computers on a saturday evening

i just had to wait 2 hours until i had to go, these fights just have been a holding time - so i wasn't rly desperate of getting killed a few times

Treehack or speedhack, its still not allowed, same with EUO and shit like that, I bet you use EUO as well to script skills? Someone who use everything available shouldnt under and circumstance bicker about someone using something to improve their experience cause he got alot of lag, hes the only guy I would accept using it though, and thats because he for some weird reason got alot of ping and its not cause he live in eastern china either.

And what would you do if for instance Wildcat started speedhacking? Would you instantly kick her? Cause thats what youre asking me, to kick a member who have been in our guild for several years because he got huge latency issues all of a sudden and starting using a program to circumvene that, dont think you would have, for the same reason im not even thinking about kicking CM now because he use it.

IMHO a guild that are using illegal third party programs themselves should have no right complaining about one guy in another guild using a speedhack.

Cheating is cheating. Speedhack is not comparable to treehack in any shape or form. OSI have known about it for years, but know theres nothing that can be done because its a client side alteration, they are also aware that it offers no real advantages over the average player, this cannot be said about speedhack.

Lag isn't really an acceptable reason, I was playing with a similar ping and I live a lot closer, yet I'd never consider resorting to cheating. If he gets banned, then rightfully so, because irrespective of his good intentions, we've had to deal with speedhacking faggots cheating to win for years.

I don't even use that, but I bet you do/have. Not that it bothers me, using it to train skills doesnt affect anyone.

If he is from sweden he should have a proper ping, I ping around 45-70 myself.

And everyone who cries all the time about ping and such, runs still same fast as everyone else without the speedhack, difference with Candyman is that he boasts about his speedhack. He runs in circles around you and such.

Speedhack is a huge advantage, thats why there would be more dismounters around too, as loads of people speedhack (Well the ones I seen been in -DC-, PVP!, .aVa (Candyman), LeeT, #1 and some without title but I was told they were second char of few PVP! members)

Stumphack doesnt make you faster, it can even actually make you slower thanks to it is loading other kind of numbers. Reason why Stump hack was used, was back to pre-trammel even, when trees had leafs and was no Uoassist around or any easy way to target people, or that could always see "incomming names", so people could hide behind tree's/leaf's which annoyed many so they started to use stumphack, now it isnt that big thing as there is "Show Incomming names", no leafs in Felucca trees' (one of the reasons the leaf's were taken away)

While Speedhack is abused like many abuses, you attack them, you kill them easily 1 vs 1, but problem is that they will run away from screen, you have no chance of getting last spell on them as they just run, or if your a dexer, they just run in circles around you

EasyUO training skills is scripting, but it doesnt change anything to UO... your just training skills and if your attended it might aswell be legal but if your afk, it is afk macroing, which can be done by UOassisst.
But if you look at EasyUO used in pvp.... then it affects and is cheating.
Or if you use EasyUO to collect gold and bos them (doesnt work anymore but used to) or use EasyUO to mine ore/wood, use EasyUO to hunt items

Those affects Ultima Online.

A cheat is still a cheat, havent used EUO other than to start secondary client to get on my tamer and ress pets for the last year or so.

And once again, who cares about 1 on 1?

Once again, to spin around a saying, wether you cheat by an inch or a mile a cheat is still a cheat

UOA was also illgeal at one point. Also OSI were in secret talks with EUO guys at one point years ago, so :S

Whether you use it for pets or not, is fucking irrelevant - it's still classed as cheating as well by your own admission, you can't cry about third party programs if you use it yourself regardless of what it is for.
