Indeed it´s pretty annoying that you didn´t qualify. Thought we´ll kick you out in semi-final after penalty shootout.. :)

I was cheering on Croatia all the way. It would have been disgusting had England got through. Scotland had more points than England in a MUCH harder group going into the last game. The other reason I was cheering on Croatia was because I wanted McClaren out and the FA have duely delivered on that front :D

Yeah it was pretty shocking, we looked at best like a championship team. Actually the pitch looked championship quality too, what was going on there?

I hate the way as soon as we go a goal down we stop playing proper football and start thumping long balls into the box. Yesterday we were playing our second choice back 4, and second choice striker(s) but the amount of times we got long balls from e.g. Wayne Bridge in the general direction of crouch, completely missing out the midfield, who were the only first choice players we had on the pitch defies explanation.

I didn't personally see the game, but I heard it was a joke.

Now you've headhunted another manager, who do you want to see in control and who do you realistically think will get the job?

From BBC:

"ex-Real Madrid coach Fabio Capello has said he would be interested in the job following Steve McClaren's sacking....Capello, 61, who has won league titles with Real, AC Milan and Roma, said: "It would be a beautiful challenge. I am the right age.""

I like Martin O'Neill, and Maurinho would get the players to play properly. Don't mind really out of those three options.

England not qualified! Such a shame. Maybe it would be better to give Jürgen Klinsmann a job as coach for the british Team. I think he would like to train the english team, because he was very sucessfull in the past and he likes England and i think he his some kind of football hero, especially in England!

I want George Dubya Bush as England Manager.
He'd launch pre-game invasions of the opponents grounds on the pretext of looking for match fixing stuffz; round up their first team on trumped up terrorism charges and would possibly nuke Manchester (Which is a good thing).

Vote for Dubya as England coach please.

I really don't rate Martin O'Neil as a great manager, not International Level quality, certainly at the level England want to be at. Perhaps I'm missing something but I don't see why he is so hyped up?

I'm not just saying that as a bitter Rangers fan either, as I think any reasonable manager would have achieved the same sucesses at that time given a very unstable period for us as a club.

Look at some of his signings for Villa for example, haven't exactly been startling. The football his teams play isn't exactly spectacular either.

Yet its Villa, and their grinding out results and winning. Do you remember Angel and that era? How pish was they, i think he's got a decent plan for Villa.

I rate him, highly, personally anyway.

Jurgen Kingsman is a nice shout, he's a good manager. Well...his one job was good heh.

Agreed at Klingsman

You will have to wait until the end of the season before you can judge his performance at Villa, they had a huge hickup last year around the midway mark if I remember rightly.

Also, what manager would really want to be in charge of England? The media and fans were out to get rid of Steve Mcclaren day 1. Much like Eriksson after a while. What chance have you got.
