Galactica Season 3 goes topical *very slight spoilers*

Galactica Season 3, episodes 1 & 2 aired at the weekend.
Amazing; the amount of Iraq references in this are unbelievable.
The humans are under occupation by the evil Cylons who have been told by their 'God' that humans need saving from themselves.
The words "Terrorist" and "Insurgency" are used liberally.
You have suicide bombings, collaborators, a human police force setup by the Cylons, and a puppet human government controlled by the Cylons.
You also have people being taken away and locked up with no charge.

Just a shame that all this will be lost on the average American when he/she watches.
I bet they'll be cheering when those human insurgents blow up the evil occupying Cylons via suicide bombers, but the context will go right over their heads.
Sometimes I'm glad God put Americans on this planet; they make our own retards from the inner cities look like geniuses by comparison.
