PS2...
i bought 1 second hand the other day to play away my summer days off from uni, now that uo is dead ;p
i bought GT4,Tony Hawks 4 and Pro Evo5 as these were the titles i knew about abit, having fun playing um but they are short attention games for me, i play for an hour or 2 tops...
what games are worth buying that i would get long gameplay seshs out of? remember that im a uo player and these dungeons and dragons type things are what i enjoy playing, the "fantasy" genre.
ideas?

Tony Hawk and Pro Evo series are pretty much the only games I've played on PS2 too, so can't really give any advice.

res evil 4 is great but not that long.
erm, final fantasy x is good for a long game. most of my ps2 games are short but replayable, i have played both mgs games a shitload.
on a diff note i just bought a game cube for £15, then resident evil 0, remake and tony hawks american wasteland for another £5,
ebay prices win

GTA San Andreas is simply the best game on it. Resident Evil 4 is very good but you probably won't play mega long hours at a time.
San Andreas is a must tbh
People always rated Ico when it came out too, I guess that has the fantasy storyline side to it. GTA is more open ended though.

whether long range weapon or suicide bomber wicked mind is a weapon of mass destruction

If you're into RPGs have a look for...
Atelier Iris, its fairly new, fairly cartoony graphics but i think you'll enjoying the combat and freedom of crafting type thing.
As everyones stated, Resident Evil 4, its down to £20 brandnew, or £14.97 in your local GAME(4tw) store.
The Godfather is DECENT if you like GTA style games.
After that, I cant be arsed typing, I just got rid of my PS2, i hardly played it with my 360 and PC my main source of GAMESEX.

I bought GTA:SA, I just can't get into it tbh, I much prefer the simplicity of the original GTA's.
It might have something to do with the fact I hate the fucking rotational camera shit as well though.
The Godfather is a reasonable game, but my god its like its aimed at kids with the arrows pointing you in the right directions, and they could really have done a bit more with some of the buildings interiors, instead of walking into a shop for like the 1millionth time.
But Angus, you need to hook me up with some cheap shit from GAME. I don't know any faggots in the aberdeen one, so
I actually had a convo with the assistant about UO in there though, when I was originally buying WoW.
