Getting your body back on track

Post by Nixon »

I have just a general question really.

In general I work 5pm - 3am, usually this means by the time I come home, settle down a bit, its 4am before I hit the sack, meaning I get up the next day about 12 or 1.

However, I usually end up finding myself not tired until even later the next night, say 4.30.

Now because I have early starts with uni, I have to get up at 8-9am, so going to bed at 4.30 is not really ideal and more often than not, I sleep in or am too exhused to go to monday classes.

Is there a trick about getting your body clock back on track or what? I've tried staying up all day the next day after work, but I always feel slightly sick to the point I end up going to bed and fucking up my system even more.

Its probably made worse by the fact I usually end up at clubs 3x a week when I'm not working, which means more often than not the earliest i get to bed is 3am :x

I got the same sort of problem but I find just ending up having 3-4 hours sleep one night usually means the next night you are much more tired and can get to bed earlier, if you always get up at 8-9 you will eventually start feeling tired around 12-1am which I believe is normal.
Usually it just gets fucked up when I go clubbing on the weekend and stay up till 5 though :<
