Maybe they will as there is no decent aos alternative, but it's unlikely.

I assume you dont mean yourself by this, because i cant really remember a serious and half decent post from you.bellend wrote:Some very experienced player ran players gave you serious advice and you through it back in their face because they didnt come from OSI.
A lot of players were happy, it were the players who demand things and otherwise would (and did) bitch arround that caused some problems. Unfortunately they didnt leave. Make these players happy would definately be the wrong thing to do. Legacy was not ment to be a clone of some other freeshards who follow that rule!bellend wrote: You were told if you dont keep the players happy then will leave and tell everyone they meet not to play there, but you took no noitce and look what happened?
This select group of peoples were the people the shard was aimed at - and if you look arround you will see there is almost nobody who questions the quality of the PvP balance on Legacy 25!bellend wrote: I can see your intentions were good but you were trying to create the perfect uo in a select group of peoples eyes. The bola removal for example was complete bullshit, because a few select people complained you removed them within 24 hours with no intention to ever re-add them.
If you took the efford to look up the advisors on the Legacy Forums (they had this title next to their Forum Name) you would know by now that the whole I-C favorism stuff is totally mid-tempo bullshit. Noxin was part of I-C on various shards - so its only natural they shared some views on PvP as well as experiences. Nevertheless Noxin listened to every valid argument, if it came from a respected person and not from a selfish egodriven idiot it would be more easyly geting attention - but that wasnt even a needed factor. People like Lego, Wofl, Oz and others who helped the shard, testing things and making suggestions and who had some influence due to their dedication to Legacy 25 are in no way related to I-C.bellend wrote: The staff issue wasnt smart you should have accepted applications and hired the most qualified out of the lot. I read on your site that uve only hired trusted people so im guessing that consists of IC which is no surprise since it looked like they were calling the shots before u shut it down.
Just because many say the same thing it dont have to be right! Noxin decided that people wont get rewards for donations. In my eyes this is the right thing to do. Its democratic and idealistic. Sure there are the selfish and eager people who wont donate then, but as i said - the shard wasn't aimed at them! And what about the 'people won't part with their money for no reason'-Argument? Dont you think that the advantage of playing a shard you really enjoy, wich is cared about etc is 'no reason'?bellend wrote: The money problem.
Many told you that you will HAVE to give rewards for donations or people just wont do it. Its a fact wether u like it or not, people wont part with their money for no reason. After all its a free shard so people rly couldnt care if it goes down or not. Selling PVP Supplies such as kegs, mass regs etc will bring in a nice sum on money per month because people are very lazy.
Well - i better not judge about the mental quality of Players who get attracted by PvP-Shardsbellend wrote: The shards goal.
The shard was made to force pvp in nearly every situation making it a PVP shard. PVP shards will attract the most retarded, ignorant, childish people you will EVER meet. The people who enjoy hunting and pvping part-time are the people who will be showing more respect towards staff/the shard its self.
Well - unfortunately none of the players seems to be willing or able to do an event. I myself had planned a combination of Tavern and Duel-Arena/ Meetingpoint. unfortunately i lacked the funds and the time to realise it.bellend wrote: Events.
They are needed to keep people busy and to give people somthing to look forward to.
wow - youre really a genious - youre only wrong if you think that this would be a valid argument for your above statements (like - see - i was right - so i am always right).bellend wrote: I said to my guild before i stopped playing last yr that this shard wont last past february if there isnt major changes and whats happened? exactly what i said would happen.
so this is ment as the ultimate guide how to run a freeshard? thats all? no alternatives? if you think so you may should reconsider playing another shard than the one you are playing - wont make a difference anyway.bellend wrote: If you cannot handle what ive just wrote then maybe you should reconsider running a shard.
try harder to grief it? to own it?i hope Noxin will understand this - i def. dont.bellend wrote: If the shard is reopened then i will check the shard out and consider playing again. A wipe will only make the people who didnt "own" the shard come back and try even harder. Somthin for you to consider.
as you can see i checked your post out and considered to reply to it, even if it wasnt adressed to me. But since it was posted on a public board i didnt reconsider and just posted my reply.bellend wrote: -Tamer McTame
