FF7 was amazing for its gameplay and had a kickass storyline and lots of ideas and mini games.
I think they should be making a movie on FF8 though, that was a fucking awesome storyline and the characters and plot was great. I think I cried a tiny bit during some of the scenes, in a good way.
Please make a ff8 movie after this one!
So is it worth downloading now or is it expected for release in the cinemas or on dvd before long?

Yeah but he's not emo, he's more like a quiet hero
Personally I found ff8 to be excellent, finally could turn off random battles when you wanted, had this cool flying city thing, good love story, great card game and puzzles to get all the GFs (summons). It was maybe a bit easy though, I got all the GFs, all chars on level 99 top stats in everything then proceded to beat the boss with very little effort at the end. FF7 was a beast to complete heh, just doesn't stick in my mind as much.
