Oh and the numerous times I have been through the likes of St Louis, Atlanta even New-orleans you can kind of glean an impression of many peoples thoughs.

Ooh another person who can just about read, but not quite. There is a difference between coherence and typos. At no point did I say everyone in the Deep South was racist, I merely said "people" which implies two or more.

Another well though out witty retort, starting to see a pattern? The role of such a comment was to convey that the media portrayal of the various actions in New Orleans was not particularly unusual; it’s not the first or last time that deep seated racism will creep into the media. Maybe the phrasing was slightly blasé and maybe I was wrong to attempt to take a cheap shot and inject some humour, who knows? However the only pointless thing I can see is the various attempts to vilify a perfectly valid point.
