You really should read it just to see how the very sentance you just wrote applies in this case.
It is the real "man on the street" view of the whole aftermath of the disaster, not the disaster itself.

And Villa, its nice that you can pick and choose your sympathy so easily. Personally I could never be that cold. Or are you just yet another anti-American sheep who will always bleat on about the bad things happening elsewhere in the world that you dont actually give a fuck about either?

lol Baph, you don't think it's funny how much media coverage/OMG SYMPATHY this gets when there's millions of other people in a far worse situation that no one knows or cares about?

It makes me angry becouse again it's poor people being fucked over and made to suffer while the rich suffer nothing, but there's so many more people deserving of the sympathy this disaster is receiving.

I have a standing order on my account that contributes an amount every month to a particular charity.
It's been going for at least 8 years now.

Thought I'd share that with you.
You see, when I slag something off, usually I can take the moral high ground, or I can talk with my feet on solid ground (e.g. Racism or Iraq and the Middle East etc) thanks to actual experience.

America is full of so many nice people but everyone is always fast to insult them. I wouldn't send money to a country spending billions on nuclear weapons programs, but all the same I think a moment should be spared for the poor homeless people starving in New Orleans, just as in any other place.
