Yup, it's the national state of alert.
Which is quite odd, as that implies a clear and present danger to national security. One off red, which would indicate hostilities are underway at a national level.
I don't think these recent incidents of the past fortnight justify such a high security alert status.
We've got armed police crawling all over the premises.

No, what i meant was do you use the "Bikini" states? Surely they only relate to military instalations.

according to sky news it was the same type of explosive as used last time, they gave the name but i forgot it already

if it wasant for that bit of info i would of said it was some wannabe guys trying to emulate the previous, but thats a bit more scary. it seems very unlikely that all 4 just 'failed' to go off right though unless they really didnt know what they were doing (which the previous attack they obviously did)

I`m inclined to believe they didn`t actually know what they were doing first time. There are a few things that lead me to believe that the guys first time round expected to be going home, i.e. didn`t expect to be there when they went off.

Yup.
We have been at Bikini Black Special for years now, with the exception of Amber after 9/11 for a couple of days, and when we went into Afghanistan, and then Iraq, and finally 2 weeks ago.

The err... 'bunker' beneath our building is 100% military controlled.
Not to mention we've got all the military top brass, along with a few politicians based on site.

Now they've shut the doors of my building :(

Just read a news article from ft.com...

The last line of the article reads:
Later, a man was arrested in front of the prime minister’s Downing Street residence.

Wonder if it was the same guy Villa saw earlier... ;)

i dont believe they knew what they were doing either.

if you knew anything bout the tube at rush hour, if u hit oxford circus deep level, at peak time, ud kill thousands with the same explosive force as used in each individual hit 7/7

the only line that made sense that they did hit was kings cross (picadilly deep line), and theres no surprise thats where the most casultys came from.

Thats the young generation for you these days - first they used to send their elderly parents to retirement homes, and now they just leave them on the streets :(
