A few friends and I are xferring back to an american shard. As is a lot of peoples opinion uo is going to the crapper, and I don't want to spend the end of it pinging 150+
Ever since my first encounters with I-C we have had an interesting hate/hate relationship. The trash talk, rez killing, *sweeps up the trash*, *sweeps up the shit*, the board warrior heroics, "fagging it up", etc. rofl those will be the moments that define what drach was to me.
Yeah there were red guilds that tried (jo, ummm some of -+- when they would get on reds) but you guys seriously in my whole uo career (career lol) I have never seen a group dominate like you guys. It was like you charted and had a tactic for every pvp area (out front destard, fire, brit gate, despise, I can't even name them all). 3 of you showing up caused concern, the normal 6-8 would cause a panic. You were so coordinated and crafty it was amazing.
Seriously I learned more about group pvp studying I-C tactics than any other shard I have been on. You guys did shit that made me go "god damn I never thought of that". lol too many times you'd get us with your divide and conquer techniques. I specifically remember one time on terra sanctum island where rand al thor, moak and I had kristoff on target and he led us around and then BAM stonewalled in an area where we had to go around to get back to everyone else, which by the time we got there they were all dead. lol smacked myself in the forehead for falling for that again but god it was funny.
All in all thank you for the fights, the duels, the creative trashtalk and for the training. I have the highest respect for your guild, you guys were damned good at what you did. If I hadn't been such a jackass I would have never learned as much as I did. Sure we played chars who talked smack but on the other side of the monitor we are all probably a lot alike. We drink, smoke, play with our balls, suck dick for crack, chronic masturbators
Just people playing the game for the same reasons.It would be cool if one of you posts a history of I-C. Like who was/were the people who started the guild, who was in charge of calling shots in vent/ts, the masterminds, best/worst battles, etc that would be something people would like to know.
Just a few shouts to some I-C/EVE members:
Duririn: fun to fight, yeah I fagged it up a lot. I'm not xferred yet for a few more days I do want to duel you before I go...ICQ me damnit
Mercury: The way you would dance while casting spells was hypnotic lol. I'd say to myself "man this little fucker is cocky" but you were a good pvper I'm sure the dance affected everyone you fought.
Vivid/zole: oh man that time at the farms where we dueled. Your guildmates handing you IR's, armor of fortune, totem, that fuckin 48 fireball, 25ssi, 40 lower def dagger rofl. I was watchin you put the stuff on, looked down at my 14 energy area 23 magic arrow cleaver and said "christ im fucked". Even without the stuff you woulda won too, but I did get you one out of the 10 when i just dp'd and weaken spammed (oh the skill) I admired that your guildmates gave you leet shit and they could trust you with it. Must be nice to have them living so close and to hang out irl.
Kristoff: good fights with you sir for real.
Latency/nixon: damn good pvper/field fighter and a nice guy!
Zim Zum: I don't think there is a template that you couldn't own with. I assume you are Twiggy and that necro/mage wand guy that I can't remember the name for. Twiggy was a scary dexxer man I didn't like fucking with him. Zim zum ur mage I could not match skill you were too good and that necro shit I don't even need to say anything about him cept " leet pwn machine".
Last but not least Detritus Delacey: Yeah I talked trash about you playing a dexxer but damn we had some good fights. lol Every shard I have been on there has been "that guy" who becomes my mortal enemy. The guy I would like nothing more than to make em say oOOoooooO. The guy who has the mutual disdain for me. The guy who throws the trashtalk back and that was you dude. Those first few days on drach when dir dir was 110 swords, my first encounter with I-C outside of fire. I saw you, the dexxer and I thought "alright this nub dexxer is going down. Had you at about 1/4 life and you ran in fire to heal. I thought I scared you but lol you came back out and fucked me up and afterward provided some witty trashtalk. You won the mortal enemy title by a landslide. You were the best dexxer on drach and now sadly that title belongs to some faggy samurai...
I-C instilled fear into drachs blue masses. You know you hit the top when the bluebies start a guild called AI-C (anti I-C for those who don't know)
I saw that thinking "jesus why? All they are doing is inflating their bloated egos even more" made me laugh
Anyway just wanted to give credit where it's due, you guys were feared and respected on drach. You never mass recruited to beat the odds you just improved on what you had and dominated and that deserves respect. gl to you all in life and again thanks.
