Anyone read up about the expansion?
Who's the first to get excited about being an elf?

As I said to a couple of sad friends who knew what UO was all about tonight..
It looks to me like a rather large publish you pay to download, not an expansion.

ooooh, something good to come out of this expansion!

Player character bards in the Felucca facet will be able to provoke critters onto player characters again. Discord and Targeted Peacemaking, however, will not work on player characters in PvP

Thats only because they are giving some creatures the ability to provoke creatures onto players

Although with the good comes the bad. With that spell weaving thingy:

Thunderstorm
Does some area of effect damage and possibly reduces spell cast recovery effective for a limited duration (I need to verify the latter part of this - I'm at home and the design doc is not handy).

If that reduces the enemy's recovery time it would suck to fight against the odds as you'd be put at a huge disadvantage
