He is 'or somebody.' He's from the US east coast, and probably pings baout 90-110ms to drach... I'm assuming your ping is about the same (maybe 110-120 at most...and those 10ms don't make a bit of difference).

Right. Ping does make a difference, to an extent. So don't say "regardless of my ping" ever again if you want to continue to talk about how your ping is slowing you down.

What do you ping to drach, bud? 110-120ms? That's about the same as phazm, and probably a good number of other people on drach. however, due to the fact that you only play here at night, when most 'local' people are sleeping, your ping is probably rather low compared to the people whith whom you fight. My ping to drach is 160ms-180ms average. You want to tell me I suck at dueling, because you can cast lighting faster than I can heal w/ mini heal or close wounds w/ 4/6 chiv casting, you go right ahead, but don't you dare turn around and say that you lose duels because you can't mini heal because people cast lightning too fast...Maybe you lose duels because you're not as good as you think you are.

You can't, its dependant on how long you have text on screen for, mine disappears before I cast another one.

some mages cast same as 20 ping as 100 ping.
omega mages cast better on 20 ping than 100 ping.

once testshard (olympic pvp i like to call it) comes back up we can have fun making

PS there is an OMEGA rl samurai secret to drastically significantly better-than-hack-ly way to even the casting speed between oppenents on different pings. I shall honor the american noobs and share this with you.

Stand still when you chant then target. alot of people when they are say being harm spammed while poisoned like to walk/run away and chant cure. If you can master teh walk but not walk while chanting and targeting technique. a 100 ping man can play as a 20 ping man.

Young apprentince BUD -> Try dueling an oppenent 3 tiles from you. with rules of neither can move. I guarentee you will cast faster if you are 100 ping. And with practice you can take that new speed to a moving battle vs a 20 pinger and compete.

I have slain the weaken warrior MANI while learning this style
I went to testshard though then got lazy. 20 ping and god settings on your pc and u can hold down your run key and not warp once frozen status leaves you. Mani could kill me easy again on EU.

I use it again though. now and forever.

I give up this valuable peice of magemanship to you pretend mages knowing you do not have the dicipline to learn it. field it. live it.

what i have told you is better than speedhack.
its better than editing your packets to 600 mtu
it is better than editing your tcp recieve window to 1000000
it is better than running client.exe in realtime mode
it is better than using -releasemem command with uoa
it is better than keeping the first gig of your hd(fastest part) partitioned in FAT16(fastest format) and used only for windows paging file

better than all that combined
no pingless-play-lego-stlye information was in this post.

lego i konw what you talking about. I have dueld many times from the same spot not moving at all, its a good practice and to see who have better magery skills.

Ping does make a difference when you fighting somebody really good but if you fighting somebody decent, it doesnt make any difference. For example its the same as somebody having advance cause they have more hci and 50% hit fireball on their tank mage vs wrest mage. Can wrest mage beat the other guy yes but tank mage have advantage over the wrest mage.

But i do fine in drancfel and its exactly good practice when i am fighitng in another shard, when i am getting ganked 4 or 5 people i can easily cast greater heal and get it on me instead of mini heal cause playing in drancfel helped my timing a little.
