phule you seem to like you crying about your pinging and not playing drac cause your ping suck or should i say you suck and you cant pvp. I ping 17 in atlantic and i dont really see anybody there who can beat me one on one maybe other than few mages but i can kill them too. I have entered so many pvp tournment and always come 1st place or 2nd place. And i am not afraid to duel or play my mage since everybody just whine about i am a warrior they still whine that i got poison on my character, people like mercury who poison other people but if they get poison its not fair and going to cry about it. but see omg is sad, i was at brit fighting badfinger and malice at the same time and i were dropping them like nothing 2 on 1 and one of them is a bushdio gimp and another one is dp gimp(yeah i know my warrior is a dp gimp too

) and they couldnt kill me but i were able to kill them and other people who were trying to gank me and after 5 or 10 minutes they call in moak and they still couldnt kill me 3 to 1 but poor malce died.

I've decided the ping argument is a stupid one, as long as you ping around 100 it makes absolutely no difference to you ability to "fast cast", I fought phazm last night and it was a totally fair duel, it went on for bloody ages and was a good display of skill (if I say so myself), now there is no way he could have competed if I was capable of casting lightenings faster than he could little heals (one of dir dir's comments about my casting), so unless its pretty obvious my opposition is lagging I will never again entertain this "omg lag bs", I lag too we all do UO's packet loss ability is legendary, so its an added factor to your loss with the main reason being lack of ability. Other excuses I used last night were :-

boredom - the duel went on for like 15 minutes with both of us redlining each other a fair bit, there is only so many times I can motivate myself to slowly regain my mana and prepare an uber dumpage

hit spell wep - phazm has a 48% lightning cleaver, when I died I got hit 3 in row one after the other, now if I had this weapon I would defend its use :p as I dont I'll cry

rofl bud, have i moaned about poison ever.

iv played pure mage last few months, thought id give up and become a sort of gimp, like urself or 99.9% of uo pvpers.

if u ask anybody who knows me threw irc, i-c/eve/amber, they will say how much i laugh about poison, and iv only had it a week lols.

no jarret is a cheating git. its just happened that we were both there...i have no alliances and the only red i dont attack on sight is duririn, not because i can't beat him because i know i can, its cos he is a mate and i respect him. and no my friends haven't left me at all. they play WoW mostly and i play UO with some of my remaining friends....and i would seriosuly like to know what exactly my bro has said?? cos when i asked him about stuff you've said before he said it is absolute BS, and i know who i believe

Ok...First of all Bud, learn to use puntuation. Second, I have stopped complaining about my ping to drach because i've not played drach in about 3-4 weeks. My ping to drach is usually 180. Over the last month, my ping to drach has been 300ms+. I can handle doing stuff in a group, but I sure as hell can't play for shit in a pvp fight/duel 1v1. Group fighting I can handle, because there are other people there who can take hits and heal me.

When i do play on drach, i don't say "omg I beat you so i'm best cuz my ping is high but regardless of ping I lose because my ping is bad and I can't cast mini-heal faster than you can cast lightning." I just sit there, take it, and move on.

I'm not the best dueler, I know that. But christ, for being into PvP and dueling for less than I year, I think I do pretty fucking well considering most of the people I fight have been doing this for about as long as i've played UO total.

I've been playing on origin a bit the last few weeks because the time i've been on Drach, only 3 guild mates were on. I've been busy with school, and I get home at about 11pm my time, which is 2am EST. Most people are asleep then..except for you guys, cuz you're busy owning the shard with your spectacular display of 30v0 harrower leetness.

I learned to PVP on drach with a 180-200+ms ping. I learned how to survive dumps while pinging like shit and watching people fly across my screen. Now that i'm playing on a shard where I ping 15ms, I hardly ever die 1v1, and all of the people who have killed me 1v1 I have also killed 1v1. I have only lost one duel on origin, and that was to a LP dexer who said I couldn't use pots (even though he used str and agility pots before the fight). But then again, dueling doesn't mean shit really. Field PvP is what counts. In all honesty, the ONLY time I ever die in the field to other players is when i get hit by more than one deathstrike.

i fought phazm for 10 minutes at fel brit on my warrior and everytime he get redline his other 4 guildmembers would heal him and eventually he got me, but he does cast so fast, probably he is a german or somebody but i could be wrong but ping does make a big difference in casting if you dont believe me go on to another shard where you ping like 20 try your casting and then try your casting in a shard 100+. I will show ya an example. Here is a screenshot of me casting mini heal spam 5 minutes ago.

As you can see i can spam mini heal so fast there i ping 17 in atlantic. I be lucky if i can do 2 mini heal in the time i did those 5. so casting does much matter depending on the ping, if you dont believe me go ahead check it out on a different shard.
