Why wont my moniter turn on?

k, my pc erm died. i left it fucked up for to long. it overheated and after a while of being ignored it crashed
on restart it told me to insert a boot disk, god knows why. i guess something is fried

i deconstructed, got new fan, reconstructed and now upon trying to turn on it sends no signal to the moniter (it tries though since my moniter recognises a signal for a second) tried on 4 diff moniters as well

could it be my gfx card, mother board or hard drive?

or all 3?

hard to tell, probably the graphics card, but it could also be that your machine isnt actually booting at all in which case its the motherboard

It could also be that you broke/killed the memory/RAM when you were messing with it. Does the computer beep when it starts up? Did it used to beep when it started up?

I suggest not w*anking in front of your monitor all the time .. fluids and electrics don't mix !!!

Sorry about that. i thought the LCD screen would protect the internal components..

nah no beep on turn on, everything inside seems to be spinning just fine, i had no problem with getting signal to the moniter before i rebuilt it though (it got to the stage of telling me i needed a boot disk)

you see my fans never used to spin, but it worked then. for a while
