Bit of solo'age

I missed the sanct spawn by the time I sorted my conn, so raided despise solo. Forgot to turn download off, so had a whole 3kb/s dedicated to UO. But np, didnt feel the lag.

Was outnumbered, but was good fight.
Initially I was on the island, and I knew I had to get off, cause its not the place a solo'er wants to be, they trapped me, but I survived the Dump. Almost killed them a few times and vice versa, they almost got me on the bridge again, but I survived.

I didnt really have a clue what to do, there was not a lot of spawn around, and its not a good dungeon for choke points, except the tunnels, but it sucks for solo'ers, so I took risks, and it paid off.

Took them out one by one.

Hopefully get a chance to play on a proper conn this summer and have the same kinda fun^^

Strange you say that about Despise Tunnels.
I found them one of the best places ever to fight a commando style battle against the masses.
Admittedly with the addition of all those Ogre Lords, it's not quite as good anymore (Unless you are Minax I guess).

Well, I personally don't like fighting there, its not quick and easy to wall of stone 2 diff targets and keep yourself healed on my kind of template, I hate despise as a whole, except perhaps level1 which is more my kind of fighting area.

Don't like tunnels since they put mental OL spawn back.

I find ogre lords are a great help when i solo. But, i tend to invis so the ogre retarget and keep on.. not always this works, but usually.

It's a mission when the shard is a bunch of blue nubs though. Auto targetting rednames r sux.

Heh I was there, if you were there with Kimberlay or one of :$$ cant remember who it was now? Was hidden on the moongate, but had to bail irl else I'd have fought

yeah that was me i was checking desp and actually spotted u on gate but think u went as i revealed nto that i would of actually helped a cashie gank u. even i have some morals
