Aesenal schooled by Bayern München ^^

South Korea was really easy I have to admit, question is why England only managed to get a draw 2 month earlier.

Btw I saw last game at wembley, that was a good game, okay nothing to be proud of, sionce it was only england who was schooled.
Anyway 12 month to go than football is coming home ^^

Thats right, but if the Premier league is a top league of the world why didnt you guys win ANY international title in the last what ? 15 - 20 years ?

My Wildcart for the WCC 2006 is Ivory Coast though. That guy Drugba is unreal

Because we don't have the best manager in the world. I think we would have been better off playing a 3 5 2 as we have a lot of great center backs (I mean Carragher is like our 6th choice CB, and he is pretty quality!), then put in a defencive mid-fielder (Ledley King? can't think of anyone) to play like Makelele. With that you have Gerrard and Lampard being able to go forward more, with Beckham/Wight-Phillips (or with this, Joe Cole) on the right and Joe Cole/Ashley Cole/Downing on the left with Rooney and Owen (Defoe) upfront. We'd rip the World Cup apart with that imo!

That last game at Wembly was a joke lol.

Scotland vs England was meant to be the last game, but we won it 1-0 (Thank you Don Hutchison) then they were like "oh..we'll keep it open one more month and play Germany" and you STILL lose, fags.

Also, the England team should be.

Goal - Robinson.
Left back - Cole
Centre - Rio
Centre - Terry
Right -I hate him but Gary Neville (omg England get a REAL right back plz)

Left Wing - Cole
Centre - Gerrard
Centre - Lampard
Right Wing - Becks or Shaun Wrighty (move to a good team plz Shaun)

Striker Numero Uno = Defoe
Striker Numero Dos = Rooney

Dont get me wrong, Owen = Own, but i like Defoe.

Yes this is your team already, but i think its a very strong team, and although 4-4-2 is basic, i think this team will rip apart the World Cup sadly.

Seeing as most of you English like the 3-5-2 system, for this team i would say.

Goalie - Robbo
Left Side - Cole
Centre - Rio/Sol - Sol would be better in a 3-5-2 imho.
Right - Terry

Holding Midfielder - Tough call, i dont think you really have one :/

Left Side - Cole

Right - KEIRAN DYER (So fucking fast)

Yes, i picked Owen over Defoe in a 3-5-2, mainly because he is stupid fast.
I left out Beckham yes, i think he is a class player, but until he plays ALL THE TIME on the Right side for Real (which ok he is basically doing now) i would rarther have Dyer.

But tbh, if i was Sven, i would pick Beckham, mainly because although he sometimes plays poorly, he always has that one pass in him that opens up the defense and just wins RL.

infact, put Gerrard as holding player, and put Beckham in the Centre, their, npnpnpnpnpnp..

P.S - Phil Neville should never be allowed in ANY international team, not even Scotland, he's shit.

With 3 at the back you would normally play 3 center backs and have a team that will fall back and defend. I think the 4-4-2 is flawed for England because of the fact Lampard and Gerrard can't play too well in it together. One is always looking out to see if they can go forward, or if they have to stay back. If they both could, it could be awesome! For my 3 at the back i'd go Rio, Terry (PFA player of the year winner!) and Sol 'fatty' Campbell. If you put Ashley Cole out on the left wing (as he does push up anyway) he can also fall back and defend as/when needed.

chelsea (yes i support the mad rox gp dupers) schooled bayern no?

and drogba was ok versus bayern but rest of season he has been average, u cant comment on english football if that is ur honest opinion of drogba based upon 1 game.

also u scored twice in injury time wen the game was dead, at home we tore bayern to pieces, but u were saved embarassment by a dive (yes a fucking gust of wind) by ballack. (thou he is best german player by miles)

The difference between Chelsea and Bayern was, that Abramowitsch apparenttly bought Lucio. His 2 own Goals made the difference, wasnt a difference by quality.
Although I dont think that any other team than Bayern could possibly stop Chelsea now.

lol we took bayern apart, defensivly you were supposed to be sound, yet conceded 6 goals... we conceded 3 over 180 minutes and 2 in injury time wen the game was dead.

i get agrieved wen people say we bought sucess, look at the successful sides in europe in recent times, real, barca, italian sides, have spent as much as chelsea have, we just bridged the gap in a shorter time period.

Bayern honestly aren't that impressive. Okay, last time I saw them play properly was a few seasons back vs Rangers in the Champions League where they were extremely lucky, but none the less I hate those bastards for destroying Micheal Mols career

I watched the Chelsea vs Bayern game, and I honestly couldn't care which way the game went, but Bayern didn't deserve to win over the two legs. Chelsea were in cruise control both games.

Milan would beat Bayern. Liverpool on a good day certainly have the quality to beat Bayern.

And as merc says, everyone of the top clubs have bought their sucess at some point, its just bs to say otherwise.
