It's possible to get a pet onto the star room telepoter w/out dragging an item. I've done it. It's a bit easier to do it by dragging an item, but it's the same end result.
Now... What i'm saying is they were running through the teleporter hallway, straight up the middle, while dragging an item. I've been told by players and GMs that this is abusing in-game mechanics and action can and will be taken against a player cought doing it.
I remember not too long ago there was a plate finding quest/event on drach in Hythloth where certain monsters carried chests that had plates w/ numbers on them. Anyone know what i"m talking about? Well, I ran up the middle of the hallway carrying/dragging an item, and you know what? I got teleported to outside the entrance to hythloth. I thought it was odd, and did it again, and then a GM pulled me to a small room, not jail, but another room and told me flat out that it was abusing in-game mechanics and if s/he saw it one more time my account would have action taken against it.
Now, dragging an item to stand in front of a dungeon entrance/exit or on top of a teleporter tile... I've heard both ways that it was legal and illegal. Don't know, but because I haven't heard first hand from a GM, I'm assuming it's legal. But dragging an item to run straight up the middle of the hallway in hythloth... i've had a GM tell me straight up that it wasn't ok, so that's why I paged on the PVP guys.
But still, these two instances whre I paged on someone else... isn't anything at all like what certain members of PVP do, so please don't lump me in the same category with them.
