Hmmmm don't get me on movies
!!! I am a movie theatre manager. te he he I love movie so damn much it is very hard to say which are favorites. Hard to categorize because of the movie theatre industry puts so many movies in categories I would disagree with.
Usual Suspects, Fight Club, Requiem for a Dream, anything chris farley, some sandler movies are enjoyable have taken a downfall lately experimenting in other kinds of movies, Full Metal jacket I agree is one of the greatest ever. Akira also good stuff. Also Interview with the vampire . . . omgooses . . . Baseketball . . . Kill Bills (quentin tarantino is a pimp) . . . Princess Mononoke . . . Rounders . . . Mall Rats(Kevin Smith also rox sox) . . . Scarface!! SO many movies I enjoy and can hardly make a list of. This may be a good start. Free movies and Previewing movies before release to win on big screen.

Hmz.. actually I think The Godfather is really a great triology. Also Star Wars is great. I mean this movie is so old but the special effects still are awesome. And the story is simply nice. I think in LOTR you can only guess how much effort is in that movie.. but there are really loads of good movies..
Dunno where to start really,
I agree with fiz on a few, I like lots of miyazake stuff, but Spirited away > Princess mononoke, kill bill is tarantinos worst stuff no doubt, (Pulp fiction obviously best, with resevoir dogs and jackie brown coming close) Interview with the Vampire is excellent, Akira is pretty good, but not up there with the best.
Although his acting isnt the best, I love arnie's films, great lines, he has good screen presence and they are just comedy
Leon (Jean Reno) is excellent, Taxi Driver (de niro) I could name so many :/
My all time favorite film has to be Big trouble in little China, so damn funny, and really good characters, I have watched it countless times and it never gets boring.
I will probly have a lot more to say as the thread develops, as I have probably forgotten so many.

Godfather III is at least as good as II, I have no idea why it takes so much shit from people. I is obviously the best of the 3 though..
Just a few off top of head(lol at some of the SHIT some people have listed here btw). Try watching some stuff made pre 1990 you cocks.
Apocalypse Now
Godfather Trilogy
Vanishing Point
Mean Streets
Deer Hunter
Watership Down
The Goonies
Only two great films I can think of made 1990 onwards = Goodfellas and Fight Club, both of those aren't far away from my very favourites. Oh Carlito's Way is fucking good as well.
