Indeed a fag to fight, but notice that knife does less then 10 dmg per hit....Impossible to die to such weapon, because prot > noxers. One example of dexer being powerful, but in the end a skilled mage wins it without question

u have no idea of how much i can spam nox ^^

10hp a second from wep, every single time u get a arch cure off i will get a poison off. granted it would be a bit greify to kill but that sall

This archery nerf is classic OSI (EA), archery seems to be right back where it was when it had the original nerf back in 98 or whenever it was. Only difference now is the delay will be even longer before you arrow actually lands. I never thought archery would be worse than that time, but now it happened. I cant see what use an archer mage will be if it takes 10s for an arrow to land after you stand still.

Well I didnt try it yet but it sounds annoying. Seems a shame to let a 5x120 char sit and rot but guess I will be using sword mage from now on.

I can only assume the new delay's duration was unintentionally too long.

Mate, archery is just fucked now. My template has gone from being frigigng lethal to being a joke in 1 hour.

According to Wilki, it seems about right to wait 2-3 seconds before you can fire.

And it seems right that you should restart your timer every time you move.

Im guessing this is their hap-hazard fix to move shot AI. make it so that your arrow only fires at the end of the swing timer, gives you no time to swap specials.

Dunno tho, im too disheartened to even log into my archer to check him again.

all weps restart there swing time rwhen you move
so if a dexer was chasing with a ai prepped they would now have to wait over a second next to there guy for it to swing


so fast weps (+death strike) for teh win

Thats incorrect mate.

If that was true, jousting would be impossible.

Its called "instahit" and it was brought back into UO before pub 16 after a long absence.

In pvp there does seem to be an issue with hitting a moving target.

I used to use the lagacy on my tank mage, 3.5 second swings. I could run up to a person im attackign and hit them. If the swing timer reset when i ran i would have to stop for 3.5 secs to hit.

what im saying is that moving now resets the 'instahit' retimer


you cannot joust with a slow wep anymore, go try it

when dexer offscreen enter omega dexer must die mode. make sure he dont see the beginnning spell. though most dont recognize it if they do see it as its not ????-Flamestrike it wont trigger the reflex run
