Looks like you have a bad case of sprintlink!
They should really rename their company to 'molasses-link' or something smiliary honest.

When Germans get affected by the sprintlink pest they do route via the US to the UK. I guess you have a similar problem. Nothing you can do really except scream at your provider or use another one who might be using a different routing partner for the trip to the UK.

Seem to remember reading that that program displays where the owner of a given server is located rather than the server itself. . or some such geektalk. Certainly the Drachs servers isnt in California

what stephanius said tbh, I got BY to reset my router allocation after a while, dunno if you can do the same, worked great and I went from 25+ hops to 8-10

If it aint ping, try setting color mode to 16 color. I dont think it makes uo look worse, this worked for my friend so theres a chance.

I had exactly that about 3 weeks ago Toki, though diff provider.

When i went to my ISP`s web site they were showing server problems, was sorted in less than 48 hours.

If they arn`t showing problems then just mail or phone them.
