Well in my experiance i havent seen much TG shit talking, I did in fact see them shit talking the newbies at brit gate who ganked me (after them failing to kill me at the Bagball arena~~~~!

Wildcat if u want i can duel or doing 2 vs 2 with some of ur teamate u choose

2 on 2 will be open fight (no mortals tho it's pointless), 1 on 1 will be without pots as usual

And nixon i paged GM like 10 mins ago about this matter

he replied that if ppl can't pass through something cuz of stamina then it's legal.

If they are full stamina and they can't pass through then that's illegal

And it's not a flame threat

It's very civilized and quiet conversation i think

I can 100% assure you that not every GM re-acts like this, I actually have a screenshot of this being said in AoS, I'll rummage it out.

Personally I agree with you anyway, if its just a stamina issue I dont see the problem, unless its boxes/candles

I am a field fighter, not a duellist.

I have always sucked on duelling, becasue I never really duelled.
And if I duel someone I know I lose to anywho whoever it is.

i fought him hmm an hour ago at serps hold 1v1. he potted like a bitch everytime i exploed, and couldnt kill me using explo/mb/ebolt (oh i wonder why, something called healing/disturbs) i didnt pot once and we both used parablow. HOWEVER dueling him would be silly, as look at his items 2/6 (5?) max sdi max lmc etc all scrolled 20s, im on 2/4 29lmc 15sdi not one 20 skill. (edit to say: my last skill is hiding, im a solo field fighter.)

so npnp i dont need to duel the guy to know he is a) shit b) a wanker who shittalks

This one is funny, a bleed mage trying to justify his use of bleed because his opponent is a wrestle mage.
Using the full potential of a character is no problem. But constantly prepping a bleed in order to keep an opponent bleeding, thus disabling them is not skill.
But I do agree, it's pointless to bring people up on it, because 80% of the retards on this shard (and probably all of UO by now) do it.Also i have np fighting u with bone harvester, but i use fork mostly cuz of high DCI and HCI it has, so it makes dexer miss more.

Maybe it's just me, but I tend to like to FIGHT my opponents, not attempt to disable them and prevent them fighting me.

Surely that wouldn't be using the true potential of a character?
In a 2v2 fight, mortal is not an issue to be concerned about... unless you are poor.

I could go on and on, but to be honest, I really can't be bothered wasting my time. I actually agree with many points, and feel most issues aren't even worth bringing up, not because it's fine and dandy, but because most players do these very same things.. because most players are shit and need the crutch that weapon skill mages provide.
Spell channeling weapons were one of the biggest mistakes of AOS but one that is now so integrated into the way people fight (Either because they need the crutch or they realize they NEED to in order to keep up with the people who are shit - see above) that it would be impossible to remove or repair without a vast change to the entire system.
