Buy it.
Best single player RPG in a long time, and it's from BioWare (Baldur's Gate, Mass Effect, KOTOR etc) which means it's guaranteed to be good.

Got it but sadly Modern Warfare 2 just launched so any gaming time I get at the moment will be spent on this!

Living with a bird sux because you don't get to do all the things you used to :(

However good this game might be, it'll never surpass my amazement at Zim finally being trapped by a womanz

I think it's the random dialogue between characters that I find most surprising; there is just so much of it.

Installed it today on my laptop and downloaded the 1.02 patch (they make finding the patch so difficult). I keep reading good things and there is some nice new content on the official website so I'm looking forward to getting into it.

Reckon it will play ok on a laptop or do I need a proper mouse?

You use a laptop without a mouse? That's mental.

Yeah im really enjoying it.

I was a bit skeptial about the "EVERY PLAYTHROUGH IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT" but its indeed spot on. Speaking to a friend he has no idea what im on about - and story wise we're at the same point. Yes the main plot is the same but you can really change it.

Sadly the numerous bugs keep smacking me in the face (although possibly because its my job) but really enjoyable :)

BioShock 2 next please

(also @Merc - thats some dedication man - two completions? Just the main story or some side quests too?)

well 1st playthrough i butchered a human mage skill set (but completed it nonetheless just very awkwardly threw some points), so 2nd time i played an elf rogue when i actually understood the skill sets and flew threw the game on high difficulty.

(i very rarely complete games (or beat them), my list is like bg, bg expansions, civ 4 on deity, fallout 3, and i think thats it lol!)
