I'm planning a short trip to Brussels early next month, but my knowledge of Europe is terrible. I'll be looking to find a TOBACCO SHOP to pick up a big stash of cigs and tobacco. I've done the google thing but it didn't help.

Has anyone been before for this purpose, any good recommendations on where the closests place to buy everything from the Midi station is?
I'll have like 2-3 hours to pick it all up in so I want to go prepared rather than just wandering around aimlessly.

Brussels is one of the dirtiest, smelliest, rainiest cities I've ever been to. In fact it has number one slot for that honour. The old part of the centre has some nice architecure, but the fallout from all the power stations surrounding it makes it pretty disgusting. It's also not as cheap as it used to be thanks to fatcat euro politicians raping it.

That said it can still be good fun, I've heard good things about the nightlife and you should still find some cheap places for booze and fags, but if you're wanting to buy large quantities you're better off going somewhere like Metro on the outskirts.
