Have any of you nobz built one of these yet?
I'm planning on it seems as i'm completely redoing my living room, it can replace DVD player and do so much more in theory, although I have to say I don't really understand how PVR/TV cards work, and which kind you need. I don't know if XP Media Centre or Vista is the b3st bet either, any ideas?

Dont get onboard audio as it sucks the balls. Get a standalone audio card.

Explain a bit more Ingo, xbox has pretty small hd right? I want to have 100% of my music and films actually on the hd, no discs. Also want to have tinternet in living room which i'm sure you can do via xbox, but how does it compare?
