Please tell me why supermarkets no longer sell frying chips, yet they have at least a dozen varieties of oven chips.
Fat cow at local Tesco's explained it is because people want to live more healthy lives.
This would be true if it weren't for the fact that this is the crap part of Enfield, full of fat unhealthy white people.

I hate oven chips.
I hate making my wife peel & slice potatoes and fry them up for me.

I want to buy frozen frying chips from a shop. Someone must surely still sell them ?

they only sell to whites.

is there a difference? thought they were just potato in frozen form?

actually why don't you just cut up some fucking potatoes?

Home made chips are far more awesome than frozen crap.
It takes like 5 minutes to peel and chop them if you have knife skills. Same amount of time it takes to heat the pan ready for them.

frying the frozen oven chips is no different. did it all the time at uni. in a wok.

I tried frying some oven chips... well I made the wife do it anyway... but they didn't taste as good as I remember ye olde frying chips of yore.

You have to move up market to get frying chips. I was in Waitrose today buying chips and noticed the same thing, but in amongst the 214 different types of oven chips, there was 1 variety of frying chips.

Obviously at Waitrose, where they have a higher class of customer, they believe the clientelle can be trusted to make their own judgement over whether to fry or bake.

Coli is indeed the winner, because just now I got home from a trip to Waitrose where I managed to purchase a bag of frying chips.
