Bonjourno
Here's some pics from a recent week in Italia, not as much activity as in the US so mainly scenic pictures here and not many stories, very relaxing holiday in a nice location all the same..
All pics taken on an SE k750i 2 megapixel camera phone.

Sorrento = best place in the world. Going for 4th time in October, although doing it with a train journey this time.

Did you go @ Amalfi/Positano/Ravello? That's probably the highlight of the area along with Pompeii and the food imo.

4th time?

I enjoyed it a lot but it's not really active enough for me, at my age I need non stop partying.

I didn't actually do any of the things you said, we were so lazy in the end and only went for 1 week so spent most of my time at the hotels pool or eating. Lots and lots of eating.
Didn't go to Napoli or Ercolano either.
You should stay at the ambasciatori if you can, the staff there are amazing and the 3 course dinners are great.

the people there are a lot more friendly than in the busier touristy cities like rome and venice, which is good. I like how they drive, makes me want to buy a black scooter and go inbetween people crossing at the lights.

There's easily enough stuff to do there for a month, Napoli itself is a weeks worth, which is what we're mainly going to do this time, Sorrento is just a good base for it, good transport(circumvesuviana) and you don't get your car broken into/bags nicked like if you stay in Naples city itself.

I am offended by Calix's avatar. I've never agreed with such degradation of women. I demand an immediate end to this lack of respect.
