Not that I think it's anymore serious that their previous 'hints', but i'd still love to see a pre uor shard. Perfect setup would really be a cluster of 3 on the east coast, one for the best ruleset of each era, which imo = directly pre uor, p15, p25.

No, I doubt I'd go back. It still wouldn't be the same UO. Its progressed too much, for better or worse the game is just entirely different.

The feeling and aura the game generated at the time wouldn't even come close with an old shard, its simply too little too late. I'd imagine it would do fantastic for a bit, then everyone would realise how shit some things were and I'm willing to bet they wouldn't have the devs or gm's to truely devote to a shard like this.

There are so many reasons why it just won't work.
