Storm Warning

Hi all

I just wanted to share this with you as it is quite relevant and really
does make you think about how fortunate we are.

With all the news on TV lately about the sub-zero weather, the
hurricanes that America is experiencing and recent mud slides in the
Middle East and South America, we shouldn't forget that UK has its
share of devastating weather too - especially the night before last.

Below is a photo illustrating the damage caused to my friend's home
in Devon from the recent storm that passed through.

It really makes you cherish what you have, and reminds us not to take
things for granted.

Take care of yourself and be safe.

We had some pretty bad garage floodings where I live (last Friday). It was mainly because we live on a hill so one side of the roads houses are higher than the other and it's been made worse by some retards on the higher side of the road putting their gutter's run off pipe pointing down their drive (illegal fyi :(). It was bloody heavy rain too, flooded 1 house completely (they'd just fitted a whole new interior to the downstairs of the house as they were in the process of moving in, hah) and about 7 or 8 garage floodings that I saw when I was walking about in it as I like the rain :P
