Stealthers getting Nerfed...

Finally, there's some remediation to the changes made to stealth/hiding in the past.
Wilki posted on stratics that all area effect spells that cause damage will damage players who are hidding within your line of site (meaning oyu can see the tile on which they are hiding). The only exception is earthquake. It will not require line of sight to do damage to hidden players.
Also, all characters who have a weapon in hand (and appropriate skill level) will have a chance to parry arrows. Evasion will also parry arrows...
And now, just got this message from someone who's on the ML beta test:
So far I have tested the following:
Earthquake will reveal you and does damage.
Chain lightning can hit you and kill you while hidden.
Fire fields will damage and can reveal you when walking through them.
Poison fields can reveal you when walking through them.
If you are poisoned while hidden, each damage tick has the chance to reveal you.
I will test Holy Light in a minute.
All tests done with 120 Stealthing and 100 Hiding character.
Here's a link.

It's half a fix imo.
I fought against the stealth changes quite vocally when we put them in, but there were orders from above to do them in order to pave the way for Samauri empires and NINJAS.
Ofc they had stealth supremely overpowered so that everyone bought the expansion to make ninjas etc.
Taken their time nerfing it back down though, guess they plain forgot.
I still remember testing the stealth and reveal changes, even the gayness people have been living with since then was toned down from the original idea.

stealth ain't really the problem, it's the archers that can kill you in 2 hits (bushido) that do my head in.

they fix this while putting in elves that can morph into reapers.
p25 was great, as good as aos could be, take us back to that and i'd play again:(
Phule you still playing on Legends/Baja?

p25 was good yea, I can't understand why they are always changing and changing everything, why can't they just leave it alone for more than 2 months. They probably just want to bleed as much money from the players as possible, but sometimes it's better to have a good game and hope that more people will want to play it as a result.

Nah evidently they realised they couldn't compete with EQ etc (and later WoW), so decided to milk what they could from it methinks.

because it gives people false hope, they fix a problem after a few months so people keep playing, but they put in something else for people to bitch about, by the time that is fixed there will be something else.
also because they really dont know what they are doing anymore

they could make me gm and i still wouldn't come back. Game is fucked beyond belief. I've hated the game with a passion since AoS, and this elf expansion seems to have finally cured my addiction

MMORPG's are like relationships. when one breaks down, take the time to decide what you want, rather than just hopping into bed with the most available one.

No you're much better of taking the opportunity to try a few (about as many as you can

) out before committing to one of them.
...so yeah, they are.
