I played it abit in the end of 2004 and it was dead then already.

i love ps
for a month, then its boring
i think i played about 6 months total since its release.
but no i aint been playing lately, i did see a funny pic of it though, will try and find it

Beta = Best online game ive ever played par UO, was totally amazing.
Full release = People just didnt wanna pay for an FPS when they could play Counter strike etc.
Shame really, because PS was really a good game.

Above is exactly correct. The best thing about PS was it's community, because the usual counterstrike crowd didnt want to pay they stayed away, which left PS with a great playerbase.Full release = People just didnt wanna pay for an FPS when they could play Counter strike etc.
I think i got 1 hate tell in a year of playing (first 56k'er to hit cr5
). Stopped because of a vehicle they released, BFR's which are basically mechwalkers. They weren't just overpowered they crapped on overpowered.Posted: Fri Aug 12, 2005 9:57 am
Yeah I didnt like that underground update crap.
It was an ace game, but what made it that way for me was the people and generally the idea you could "always find a fight". Which was true.
I think i tried every side in PS, my fac being TC (thats the blues!).
Ah well, if that game picked up i would probly come back.
Was a good game you could go into for an hour then leave etc etc.
