Ok can Someone please explain to me how siege works and the differences to the normal PVP styles? I just fancy a change but want to prepare myself a lil bit

No item insurance obviously, no trammel ruleset, only one character. Different skill gain system.
Those are the major ones that spring to mind. But if you don't already have an item bless deed there, don't expect to be able to pvp with a mage unless you pvm yourself an endless supply of 1/2 items, because they're gonna get looted, a lot. Having said that Siege is still full of shit, poorly equipped reds who prey on pvmers in Ilshenar and now I expect tokimon lands, and I was killing some of these in Ilshenar with 2/3 or 4 casting. (I have an item bless deed).
If you start making a character today, however, it will be months before he is finished because of the way skill gain works there. Oh and you can't sell things to vendors to make money, and items cost 4 times more from vendors than any other shard. It's the only shard which still has a semi sensible player economy, and doesnt suffer from massive inflation.

making a char is gonna take you a while, my char is only like 5x gm (no resist) and manages fine though

I like my dexxer on Siege, i run around naked with my Cold Blood and r0xx soxx.
Plus its less hassle than regging up etc :/

I dont spam poisen, i dont even have it at a useable level.
You will find most pvpers are potted out, petals, etc.
So LP dexxers are easy as sin to face, if your prepared.
I meerly meant i can run about naked and still do decent damage (and take waaay to much).
I get into alot of good fights aswell, always rezzed/rezz them. Looting is hardly a problem.
*shrugs*
Its better than...
