They can still instantly change into animal form after the bola has been thrown. Good going.

So anyone on a mount who does this, has a 3 second timer, but ninja's have 0.

This was pointed out to the devs as soon as they said they had fixed ninjas. As usual they just ignored everyone and did their own thing.

If this is the case and people still abuse it to gank then I'll close my remaining account. The other three have already been closed.

I dont really think this is that bad of a deal, really. I have never seriously played a ninja, so I don't know all of the details. I know it's possible to make a macro in UOAssist or razor that will cast the spell Animal Form and automaticlaly select the animal for you before the window pops up, which means changing into wolf form is that much quicker.

But can you cast this spell and run at the same time?

For example, let's say i'm in wolf form already, and i'm chasing someone. Then I have to get out of wolf form to throw the bola. If I can keep running while i'm casting this spell, great...but once I hit human form I won't be running fast enough to keep up with said target. If I have a macro to use the bola and throw it at the last target, well, great. Hopefuly it's fast enough to do that before the person gets off my screen. Dunno... The only real advantage of being in wolf form is hit chance increase, right? I mean, the hp bonus is nice, but not that nice... Also, when you're in animal form you cannot cast spells or use special moves, so the only real advantage of this form was being able to run fast as hell and bola at the same time. Now that you cannot do that, being able to go back into wolf for immediately doesn't seem like that big of a deal.

The only things I can think of that would be pros to this would be:
*Smaller target on the screen (negated by the fact that most people have last target macros)

*Hit chance increase (but most ninjas should have a decent amount of HCI already..)

*HP Bonus (goodie...quaff a str pot. same thing)

*be able to outrun your opponent and get away after you dismount them (This is really the only good thing I can think of...)

Perhaps I missed something. Can someone point out where I went wrong if I did? kthx.

I haven't seen the RMC Ninjas either.
In fact the only Ninjas I have seen lately are those two exploiting fucktards from V--V, guardwhacking various people outside Fire Entrance and at Brit Gate.

Actually, I lie; I saw a JO Ninja the other day who was forced to use weapons to dismount me.
So, yes, so far so good - I have yet to be bola dismounted by a Ninja since p29.

Uh huh, I'm sure that p29 and Asuka's 'boredom' are complete co-incidences...
