Fallout 3 is on hold until I finish Gears. I played the first hour though and it's an awesome intro to the game.

Completed gears now on hardcore. Going to give the multiplayer a good go now. The new lobby matchmaking system is slightly irritating since I always chose warzone before and now it works differently.
Probably spend some time on fallout too before mirrors edge arrives.

MP seems pretty decent, Horde mode looks amazing (only had a few tries at this with pubbies but it was very cool).
Oz and I also did some coop campaign on HC, that was really quite cool too!

Meh.
The demo is so so, its fun, but its not really "£40" fun.
Its decent though, so far its enjoyable, normal is far too easy and expert is sitll fairly straight forward, the biggest dissapointment about the demo is that it leaves out zombie vs player interaction, i.e i cant play as a zombie so the game just turns into your standard CS Zombie mode, well, the zombies are AI, so despite being some nice touches, like team work being integral to you completing areas, its nothing amazing.
Still, ill give it a better shot.

The demo is on Steam aswell.
Had a quick run through it, didn't make it to the first safe room in my first game on normal, with about 5-6 tries. Joined another game on normal and breezed through it no problems on the first try, so I guess teamwork actually matters which is cool.
But yeah, it's fun alright, don't know if I'll be buying it though, depends how long the campaigns are (think there are 4 of them), and if the vs multiplayer is good I guess.

The game is gettin much better, i really see whatg they mean by its never the same, characters change, the ways in which horde appear and such is different ad so too is the use of boss characters. Ive played through about 10 games nowm, and in the last one was the first time ive seen the Witch, who fucking owned me.
Its good, its getting better. Its rumoured to be priced at £30 and although its primarily an online game lets face it most of us have bought MMOs that have turned out worse for the same price.

That's awesome, cheap as well. They used to cost £70 for the SNES. But then, so did Streetfighter!
Let us know how you get on with it.
