Playing a good stealther was through players skill however just like most things in AoS the need to be a skillful player has been removed and we are left with easy to play template with all the benefits of a normal dexer (45 HCI, 100% DI etc) with the loss of resist however since they are hidden most of the time it makes no difference wether they have resist or not.
Sure you can get kills with them but it doesn't take ability to do it, any three year old who can push buttons can do it. I should know, I've played a ninja enough doing stupid pathetic things to grief people in return for their lame play but I've already grown past that.

Well, AOS enabled be me be almost 45 hci/45 100 DI and swing at 1 per sec. That plus the element of suprise meant that the average foe would be half HP and LPd before he knew what was going on.
Also, I mean "old template" cuz the standard Assasin template is pretty old school, AOS just gave them power, SE made them easier to play and made thier 200 points a little more worth while.

I was out today doing well, till the group brought in a tracker/revealer. all of a sudden im a dead man.
ANyone who complains about stealth and thinks thier 3- pr wjatever points in magery should be able to undo it all needs to take a step back i think.
Yeah stealthers are annoying, but theyre easy to take care of if your willing to use the points for it.
remember, it may seem like a lot to invest 200 points to catch a stealther, but 1 char with 200 points will catch EVERY stealther arround. WOnt be long before people adapt and have a tracker as part of their group as standard. Personally i think thats exactly how it should be.
You do realise that a fair few people in I-C have played stealthers so know exactly what it takes to play one~
I have a tracking/detect char and in comparison to the power of a stealther/hider they are underpowered. Thats 200 wasted skill points I have that dont even work half the time! Oh noes.
Ninja's are overpowered right now, fortunatly most people dont have a clue how to play one properly.
Oh also, thanks to item PvP stealthers aren't really that underpowered in comparison to a dexer, items can make up for lack of skills and offer so many more options.

Who are the better pvpers in DF
so far the "best" ive met are some Victorixca blabla an some Sahara etc from brit mg
and is this S$M etc drachens ELR ? Member some Knoxville guy i dont remember names well
And how often people do t2a spawns here, is it only the rats in the morning and rarely other spawns or what, someon PM me in irc plz if someone makes harrower i want to see DF harry

lol victorinox is an EP nub who uses explode scrolls
best I've fought IMO are Nolita, Theristis, Lavee Stylie, Bob Marley (although he is very changeable form wise) and obviously Vivid (zole)
the gimps are Malek (bleed, strangle,dp fag) , anyone with a dryad (Mongbat, Cornelia something or other etc), Belamor (wand nub) , any cashy (:$$ guild) - they have duped 500 val runics and as a result have ridiculous items, jarrets spear for example is something like hci 15, ssi 30, di 35, HML 50 sc UBWS or something stupid, all items no skill Natas is a cashy too but if you disarm him he runs for germany.
probably more but they are the main offenders

Didnt see any explode scrolls in his body on 3 occasions though, havent met Lavee Stylie at all yet, Nolita and Bob I met in EU bob was crap nolita was ok, theristis killed me in DF, hard to say is he good or not, i was dismounted and he did max sdi bleed lightning spam
But damn I see so much more ridiculous weps on this shard then in EU, like everyone has some 50% hit spell sc0 bleed wep its ridculous to fight them without pots
I havent met anyone with any "quality" yet, sure some fast casters and xhealers but none who does something clever, like zole/marko did in EU

approx. 30% of I-C

Calas Thunder SEK
And some others who I forgot

victorinox is certainly a 45 ep player, I'm sure he uses exlode scrolls, certainly did in the past as does der clown from RMC, other notable players who arent very good but think they are - sengir vampire, mellisan & scotswife
there are some decent guilds on the shard with varying skill levels within them -+- have some decent pvpers although its rare to get to solo any of them (evil eyes, shindara etc..), EK who have various sub guilds (calas thunder is good but an AI archer addict, serenity see previous) also in that guild are people who I respect like stephanius and up until recently biff & narzilla I'm sure you will meet them, generally though there are very few soloers just group egos and lots of dpers, which is no bad thing in terms of activity just frustrating when nubs smack talk
other good guilds are TG,^o^,*$* probably more but its early

Omg how can I not be on any of these lists, I kill every one of those people on a regular basis on that list playing a mage on a laptop. Come on, fuel my ego a little bit.

Lies ! by '30% of I-C' I was referring exclusively to ULTIMATE WARRIOR, whose prowess is so gigantic, that people sometimes think he is a whole gank squad in himself.

Also, as Freedom already noticed, the equipment level on Drachenfels is top notch.
Just about everyone has extreme weaponry and items.
On the other hand, it is rare to find items of this quality for sale anywhere, which is kind of mysterious and makes me pull my (remaining) hair out trying to work out where people get this stuff from.
Drachenfels truly sucks when it comes to shopping. Just can't find the stuff I need, and even basic supplies (Regs, pots etc) are sometimes hard to come by.
