Voilehg wrote:cba to write anything long and wise like others, but tbh the shard was good. it had big number of amazing things. it also had things that were not good, but nothing is perfect.

what drove me off was pretty much the fact that there was no challenge, i didnt feel like anyone was a threat, or hatred towards anyone, sure enough i didnt like most of the retarded americans (any of them, actually) but they didnt provide good pvp or a challenge, thus, i didnt care.... dunno

and the fact that i play guildwars pretty much at professional level

but if legacy ever comes back, i wont be starting over. the amount of time getting char + items is just too big in aos. if there is a way around this, then i will play.

good work 90% of things noxin

thats funny since by the time most of the shard actually got any items you were GONE. you kill people in gm armour with multiple artifact dexers for 1 month, then leave before everyone gets items and say no challenge :/

Difficulty in getting a good suit is one of the primary problems with Legacy. It was supposed to be easy, in fact the difficulty was increased about 3 fold just before opening due to dears that it was way too easy.
I should have listened to Calix's advice on that (I-C FAVOURTISM LOL) issue.
Artifacts were garunteed drops, shame bosses dropped 1 in every 2.
Minor arti chance was right, you just needed a decent luck suit and you'd get like a 25% chance at a minor from a paragon dragon.

Best Shard I Ever Played On !!!

With a staff team and how u handle this wipe the shard might do well again but thats a big might... I hope nixon and villa would be on this "dev team".

I can see money always being a problem if you dont give item rewards for donations. I know there will be the few people giving donations out of respect and there will be the guys doing it so they can see their name on the site for an ego boost but you cant rely on them forever.

item rewards = regs/blank scrolls/pots/kegs etc etc

anyway.. you gotta do stuff you might not like to keep the server going, unless you like to pay for it ofc :)

off topic-

I take it you told everyone that I-C was a guild from an online medevil role playing game?

He is right to an extent though Pain - Men were the only organised/well itemed guild in the first month, they should have stuck around longer I agree, but it's pretty obvious they would get bored as there really was 0 challenge for them.

Anyway, i'm sad the server's gone, I personally was really enjoying it. The downside for me was really that it came up at a time when my playtime was limited to 3 evenings in 8 max, which simply wasn't enough.

I might be able to donate a fair % of costs if I can
1 - ever master forex day trading and
2 - can work it out out as a tax deductable contribution. Rather have legacy have it than the IRS

I dont think it was the server running cost that made noxin quit the server tbh...

He could have had a free server... You might still get the offer...
Anyway i think you kinda screwed up by dropping the server without telling the ones that loved the shard of the problems first. You may have lost more of the good players than the morons.
Free servers will always attract idiots, after all they are public shards. Mind you , you get them on EA shards to ;)

In my not so humble opinion, in the last couple of weeks the general population of Legacy25 was mostly comprised of the type of people I would love to throttle IRL.
Oh and retarded Americans.
Mainly retarded Americans actually thinking about it.

tbh thats just UO, and is to be expected considering its a free shard after all.

Most people in UO that you only fight against always come across that way, once you actually get to know them its differant imo.

Some people will actually say the same with some of I-C members too i bet... As a guild you just learn to get on with everyone, just like all guilds.

The address will be fixed and there might be some down time today because they are upgrading the server.

Maybe you guys will try playing there untill legacy re-opens thats if you want to go back ofc..
