Spelling mistakes not withstanding, that was a rather amusing statement.
Well done; not many people make Mr Villa LOL.

rofl pain, division 1 side, bankrupt? wtf are you on about. the season pre abramovich we beat a certain liverpool into champs league finishing fourth, haveing not had 1 signing that season, except sum spanish tard enrique de lucas on loan. that side contained cudicini, terry, gallas, lampard,j cole, gudjohnson for a start.

the finances at the time were no worse than 95% of the premierships.

i agree with calix wen he says im a fan of my clubs manager, but pain your rantings about benetiz are funny...whats there league positions over last few years? utter rubbish under him. currently what 13th? if he's so great as a coach why are the champions of europe, 13th domestically.

mourinho won the portuguese league in his first 2 seasons and the uefa cup/champions league, which no money to be seen.

look at the liverpool players that start most weeks...

reina
garcia
crouch
cisse
morientes
nunez
josemi
sissoko
alonso
zenden

i make that 10 new 1st team players in 2 years. At a fairly hefty combined price ;)

infact id go as far as saying liverpool have spent more in 2 years than any other premiership side minus chelsea.

Nunez doesn't play here anymore, how often do you see Josemi start? It doesn't matter about comparison with the rest of the prem, though I'd say man u spent more thanks to mr rooney. Chelsea's spending has no comparison whatsoever to the rest of the premiership.

And your finanances weren't worse than 95% of prem clubs? lolol.
Why have you won the league, because someone who has ripped off his own country, owns an oil field the size of wales that should belong to more than one person, and basically got lucky in a scramble for power after the collapse of communism gave you a ridiculous amount of cash.
Would it be ok if liverpool were taken over by the worlds biggest cocaine dealer and beat everyone? not imo.

Have to agree with the latter parts of Pain's post.

Pain i agree with your points but if the shoe was on the other foot would you not embrace the russian ? Its easy to criticise chelski but deep down i dont think any fan or club would turn down that kind of investment. I personally think that the modern game is a disgrace no one should be paid £120,000 grand a week for kicking a pigs bladder round a pitch, specially players that seem to not enjoy what they are doing.. thats my 50p's worth

End of the day Chelsea are a nothing club with no history, be it of winning anything, of great players, nothing. Will always be known as the club who were the equivalent of Norwich City ever until bought by a Russian billionaire.

ouch that is a cutting statment

as much as i fucking detest everthing about chelsea due to the great rows my club( middlesbrough ) has had with them ( small club large club mentality) i would never class them as a norwich or similar with no history
