when you get a nice phone you may find you use it much more. With 200-300 free minutes to any network you will barely have to use your landline phone, cuts out expensive calls to mobiles..
Pay as you go is pretty nice as well because you can monitor what you spend easily but I prefer not to think about what I'm spending and not have to go out of my way to buy credit, just one bill a month
