Staying on topic. What did the AMERICAN stealth archer community say about the new publish?
At first I thought he was being sarcastic. He wasnt.
Well here I log on because im bored at work to see patch about stealth who cares eq wont affect us and when we hudle youll only do like what 10 damage with chain lightning. And for the idiot who posted about poison fields you moron they always worked as did wiether and yall couldnt stop us then so what makes you think chain lightning is so great hell the poison was WAY WAY WAY more a pain then that. You all complain non stop about us yet just keep walking back up and dieing. As for us being proud when guys bitch about us yes its your anger that is flatering because your all to lazy to build templates with your 5-6 slots to fight us like kozer the reveal,parry,ninja did and he is awsome against us. I just want to say kudos to you man its good to see someone who isn't so lazy that all he does is come to this sight and whin stay in tram tramys.And last thing is if you really think you can judge a guy for likeing to gank and have fun in a game then you need to do two things.ONE: stay out of fel its what guys go there for and TWO get a life other then uo so you can respect and understand that we do in amagination or games what we dont in real life. Its just a way of relief you just are mad because you kick your dog instead.

No idea who that fucktard is, but he's a bit off base. Wither and poison fields used to damage stealthers, yes, but poison fields haven't revealed steathers since before the Samuari Empire expansion came out.
Now, any time a stealther takes damage, they have the chance of being revealed... It's not automatic like it used to be, but it's better than not revealing them at all.

at what point in time did they automatically reveal you?

A possum = Moak/Fizban/Angry Jamaican. He plays mainly on a possum now, as his brother (dir dir) is playing fizban.
And Redname, as I remember, casting poison fields on a stealther used to reveal them because they would always be revealed when they took damage. Just prior to the release of Samauri Empire that was changed so that damaing stealthers no longer revealed them. I never played a stealther before a month or two ago, but I do remember casting nox fields on stealthers and seeing them revealed when they got attacked by the field.
Not, it sounds like a compromise between the two. There's a chance to reveal a stealther when they take damage now...

I thought that was because the hidden person attacked the caster of the fields when there were next to them. Made it impossible to play a stealth archer as you can now back then as you would attack them from a distance, unless you walked around with no bow equiped. I am looking forward to these changes but archer needs a bit better balancing on it tbh! Mix it with bushido and critical strikes with a dryad bow and you have a tasty template (still killable with a necro though
)

Bushido archers w/ dryad bow....ugh... I hate those fuckers. Takes no skill to kill someone w/ 2 hits.
They're effective for sure, but most of the ones on napa are blue and use honor. I got hit for 108 damage the other day.
I only have 104 hps..
The problem is that lightning strike only takes about 5 mana to "cast," and I say cast because it's not a weapon skill, which means the mana cost is stat, as opposed to armor ignore, para, bleed, etc.
You can sit there and spam lightning strike all day and never lose mana.

casting pfield only ever made you auto defend, so if you stood next to them unless you were ready for it you would be revealed by attacking back, but you could spam and never get revealed except by the spell/skill (never came across anyone with the skill) so as soon as u saw someone casting field or eq just move away and start tabbing in the past
but yes thats why archers didnt work to well (and the fact archery was very underpowered with no dp weps,chasing and stuff, and slow etc..)
i played a stealth archer for about a week though and it was fun but vastly underpowered compared to dexer
edit: and now i think abbout it the change just before se (and just after erm, something else) was that the guy who cast poison would automatically be revealed when his poison did damage, wasant playing a hide char by that point though
