I'm considering buying one, I was wondering if anyone here has bought one, and what they think of it?

My mate bought one in America back in May or so when England were playing, he loves it and I've seen it play. It looks very nice running and the wireless network playing sounds good. I wouldnt spend that much money on it though, personally.

I'm not really sure if I want one, I'm tempted to buy an iPod since atm I just make do with my USB stick for music, but its had a few knocks cause of the size and the screen is a bit miffed,

Toying between an iPod and PSP atm. PSP has the added advantages of games/movies - although watching a movie on a tiny screen might piss me off.

Need some gentle persuasion :)

psp is fucking awsome, and i mean really fucking awsome

the only thing you gotta ask yourself is: when they fuck am i actually gonna use it? you travel quite a bit so you prob would. but its a hell of a lot of money for something you be bored of in a month

where my ipod i use for 4 hours a day everyday and have done for 2 years and i love it as well~

I like playing with myself.
Yes, I will probably buy a ps2 before Christmas.

Was thinking maybe buy one of these to keep the 3rd kid occupied, while the other 2 are playing with the ps2.
I wonder if it's childproof ?

I bought a gameboy advance sp once. It looked very pretty, apparently they even have a lot of nice games. I remember I used it for maybe an hour to play super mario world when the electricity went down in my apartment. It was fun but ive never used it since. I just don't think handhelds are a good investment.

On the other hand I just got my brand new 20gb colour screen Ipod through the post today from Amazon. Apart from the initial setback of all the menus being in chinese, I'm in love with it already, and have spent most of the day walking around with it in my pocket playing music. The fact you can look at photos on it as well is awesome, it's nice knowing I'll always have my favourite photos with me to show friends and reminisce.

I dont know how much a PSP costs, but id imagine it's a similar price to the new generation Ipod, and given a choice between the two id take the ipod anyday. + games are for losers.

lool slamer

I might buy one, not sure if it's a good use of my resources though since the only game I have played regularly in the last couple of years has been UO. got a bit of wedge sitting around though so could go for it.

is anyone getting an xbox 360? I was talking to my mate andy who is a programmer for EA (did SSX, hockey games, tiger woods etc) and he says the xbox 360 is amazing, you can render images so close to reality..
