well i dont have 120 resist as i said before and he was permanently poisoning me and its not that i ran instant, we fought a few minutes before i decided to leave - and btw he offscreens too when low on hps, but i dont care, its normal, nearly everyone does ..

or if you mean unable to know winder was alone, well if I based who i fought on whether they might bring backup, i'd never fight ppl..

resist bug works fine still. just slower now
took me bout 4 hours total to go from 70-115 (only 3 trees though)

i dont carry pots, unless i loot them. And i didnt offscreen, afaik running out of spell range and offscreen are two diff things.

Find a champ spawn of either undead or better abyss type. Take armor with good resists and high durability. Go all out on healing, i.e. plenty of heal regs and pots and healing wands. A barded swampy for that 20% less damage or orange petals might also help.

Teleport into a safe spot and have the little buggers have a go at you. I find this an excellent spot to do the jewellery thing. Most of the time its just people like me or you who are not patient - or desperate ? - enough to take the boredom of waiting for that gainchain who get to the conclusion that it doesnt work anymore. Even if you do not get any jewellery gains you should get gains just from the ton of spells hitting you.

Of course everyone off-screens. Since a mages range is half a screen a full screen distance for a few seconds is quite sensible as a tactical fallback.
When I say 'Chris Furger run 1 vs 1' I mean run run run run run run dont stop until serverborder or hidden.

I went out solo last night on my blue i'd just xsharded over. I only went on him as he has swords so I zipped up my suit, grapped my cleaver and went at it and my god it's SO damn easy to get kills on a wepskill mage, I really had forgotten just how simple it is. The downside was it's a lot harder to survive if you don't setup your macros and weapon binds if you go out withour sorting out assist.

So I wandered in to star and saw 5 RM[ guys (3 Ninjas, 2 reds) and two blues (think they were friends as they didn't attack them) immediately hit my arm wep key and.. nothing happened.. OH SHIT.. stood there in a panic trying to work out why, got bola'd, realised none of my keys would work as I hadn't setup assist and down I go not 5 seconds later. Fastest death EVER on DF and it was to bloody RM[!

hehe stephanius - die like a man - like u did some time ago in deceit and about 1 min later ur ganking squad came in and killed me ...

and i say it here again, plz bring ur trash dexer back to trammel where he belongs and do pvm again !!

Right, me vs hiding you and a zillion undead. And I died because I did stay to fight you rather than running this or that way, and only called people AFTER I was dead because I didnt want to restock.

In fairness to Chris, I think he has hiding on his template, so many people insult hiders - but it really is the ultimate solo pk skill, and its pretty fucking hard to kill people with such a defensive template since AoS on a hider because of the way spell damage and items have changed PvP, so kudos.

Plus he's a solo'er
